Holistic Skin.

I will put it simply. Food is Medicine. And your skin reflects what is within. You kind of are what you eat. And not just food, your lifestyle, habits, environment, people, water, all of it is important for whole health and healthy skin. To me, skin health and skin care is not about perfection, it’s embodying your own birthright natural beauty. Each face is so unique and beautifully created.

We are made of Earth and Breath.

Mini Holistic Protocol for Skin Health

Internal Nourishment: (organic when possible & local is always best)

Check out the EWG site for an updated list of produce you can buy that is clean without the organic price: https://www.ewg.org/foodnews/clean-fifteen.php

Hydrate deeply: Drink plenty of spring water throughout the day. Drink about half of your body weight in ounces per day and watch how much you feel the difference. Start your morning with water + a squeeze of lemon & a pinch of mineral-rich salt. Eat watermelon, drink coconut water, sip herbal teas.

Sip healing teas: Try daily herbal teas like nettle (minerals), green tea (matcha) , burdock root (blood cleanser), dandelion (liver support), or calendula (skin-soothing).

Nourish with bone broth: Rich in collagen, it supports gut lining and skin elasticity.

Eat skin-loving foods: Whole foods (simple ingredients, food not fillers), grass-fed and wild caught proteins, organic pasture raised eggs. Include leafy greens, berries, avocados, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, and seeds like pumpkin, flax, or chia.

Support gut health: Add probiotic-rich foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, or Greek yogurt to your meals daily.

Self-Care Rituals:

Cleanse gently: Avoid harsh soaps and use coconut oil with warm water as needed. Our skin sheds and renews on its own, and honest confession – I never wash my face unless I wear mascara or if I applied heavy sunscreen that day, and when I do wash it, I only use warm water and coconut oil. Every now and then you can make a homemade mask or exfoliant which is super supportive and nourishing to your skin.

Nourish: While skin is still damp or after spraying a hydrosol, apply 3–4 drops of Earth Glow Serum to seal in moisture and feed the skin. It is recommended to use a hydrosol before applying serum and after to fully lock in moisture.

Bottom line. Skincare should not be a 12-step process, it should be simple and nourishing.
